Connecting Michigan provides a coordinated, broadly accessible, technology-enabled infrastructure for community and civic engagement at the University of Michigan. Connecting Michigan builds upon current networks of practitioners, and coordinates, where appropriate, existing decentralized data inventories in order to advance U-M’s mission and amplify its contributions to the public good.
This initiative is a partnership between the Office of the Provost, the Office of the Vice President for Government Relations, and the Ginsberg Center, with ITS, the Center for Academic Innovation, and other key stakeholders.
Connecting Michigan recently began coordinating with ITS on the Connecting Michigan Implementation Project. Additional information about this project can be found on the project’s site. For more information about Connecting Michigan, contact connecting.michigan@umich.edu.
