The mission of the Center for Interprofessional Education (CIPE) is to innovate and transform interprofessional education, collaborative practice and research to achieve the Quadruple Aims of Health, which are 1) better health 2) better patient experience 3) lower cost and 4) improved provider well-being.
Now in its seventh year, the CIPE has recently released its 2021-22 Progress Report which details the advances the Center has made and its plans for the future. Highlights include:
- Recognizing two teams with the IPE Awards for Innovation and Excellence
- Launching a series of IPE pilots that focus on healthcare teams in both practice and community settings
- Inspiring at least 9 peer-reviewed publications from U-M faculty, staff, and students that focus on impact and innovation from IPE
- Hosting the Health Professions Education Day 2022, an annual event to spark networking and collaboration across the health professions schools at the University of Michigan
